Major Skips has some of the up to date and high tech facilities in the North West, at our huge site we have a Waste Transfer station, tipping facility and public weigh bridge for public and commercial use.

A 6 acre site on the Wirral plays home to our new 15’000ft Waste Transfer Station, complete with Public Weigh Bridge. A Waste Transfer station is where any refuse that has been collected is taken to be sorted, undergoing thorough visual and weight checks. This will allow us to separate any waste for recycling or landfill. Our public weigh bridge allows us to weigh your vehicle and waste, efficiently calculating load level and giving an accurate cost in rapid time.

With landfills rapidly approaching capacity, recycling is more important than ever.
